Oh my, we're so alike. I, too, have a bald husband who every now and then pulls out his high school trumpet. Mercy! And I get to hear (again) how he was 2nd chair until he got his braces..yada yada yada. Then there's the cat. I had an orange farm cat and paid through the nose to have his leg in a cast after a horse kicked it...it's like you say...I just kept throwing good money after bad...sigh!
I've survived (with very little bruising) an older sister and brother, raising 4 teenagers, and growing up in NJ. I've recently become a mother-in-law, twice, AND a grandma! My granddaughter Addison was born July 21. I'm a daughter of The King who reminds me daily of His unfailing love for me. He gives my life purpose and joy. I'm eternally grateful that He called me to be His own and do His will. I'm especially grateful that He's patient with me, picking me up when I stumble in my walk with Him.
